The Stanley & Son tradition started back in 1931 when Kent Stanley's (The "Son in Stanley and Son") grandfather operated a Case farm machinery business which was sold in 1961. Doug Stanley (The "Stanley in Stanley and Son") then started the dealership on McLeod Lane in Madisonville, Kentucky, renaming it Stanley & Son. Kent Stanley started working with his father when he was 10 years old helping out in the shop and took over the business when his dad retired in 1993 and has been there since. The Stanley & Son, Inc. business moved out to the family farm in the early 1970s adding the showroom you see now in the 1980s. With the expansion of our service bay to include larger lift stations for the heavier ZTR mowers and equipment, Stanley & Son now has 13,000 square feet under roof with the largest selection of mowing equipment and replacement engines in the tri-state area.
